Synopsis
In
the Spring of 2000, Barton County Community College produced as their live
musical THE WIZARD OF OZ. Mark Adams was asked to shoot and edit the Kansas
sequences and play them back each night of the performances as if they were a
black and white film, reminiscent of the original 1939 MGM motion picture. When
the story takes place in Oz, the scenes would be the live (and in full color, of
course) performances on stage. Mark was in the middle of shooting his film
SOMETHING when he had to halt production and make THE WIZARD OF OZ: Dorothy in
Kansas.
